AB3D Designs manufactures various kinds of Plaques, Buckles, Medallions, Leather and Wood Embossing Dies. Our Business works with many kinds of metal including Bronze, Aluminium, Brass, Zinc Alloy and Pewter.
AB3D Designs was established by Andrew Borg in 1994.Andrew began making a name for himself by working closely with his clients ensuring they have a top quality product at a very affordable price. Andrew has been in the industry for over 3 decades and has developed many new techniques to get clients a quick turnaround. The business specialises in plaques for companies, schools, memorial remembrance, historical markers,clubs and the general public.
Since the businesses inception, Andrews dedication to quality workmanship and a passion for excellence has set him apart in the industry. He realised the need for a company that stood for quality, integrity and having the ability to match the clients’ every minute detail.
Note from Andrew Borg:
I began my trade in 1980 after leaving school at the age of 17. My apprenticeship lasted for four years during which I learnt to make Embossing Dies, Medallion Dies and Master Buckles for production casting. After completing my apprenticeship, I stayed on for a further eight years as manager. I opened my own business in 1994 where I have diversified over the years to keep my products fresh and interesting.
Over the last eight years, I have moved into making 3D Cast Plaques for Memorials, Historical Societies, Clubs etc. I have also taught myself Metal Casting and I am now able to cast a lot of the work in-house.
